Don’t Share Your Secret Info! (Twitter Status): Twitter are really suffering from their use of basic auth for their API. They need to switch to something more secure, such as OAuth (which they co-authored). The trouble is, how do you migrate the vast number of API consumers that they have? It’s going to be really interesting to see how they handle this. I just hope they don’t ignore it.
